Command Sergeant Major Michael Wilson

Joined the Michigan Army National Guard in 1982. Since joining Mike has deployed to Korea, Germany, Italy and other points of interest for military operations. Mike was Deployed for Operation Desert Shield/Storm in 1991, and in 2006 was deployed to the Iraq/Kuwait border in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Mike deployed to Atlanta GA in 1996 for security operations in support of the Olympic Games.

CSM Wilson was a assigned to the Michigan Military Academy for 4 years as an Instructor, and Maintenance Operations NCOIC.

He completed the United States Army Sergeant Major Academy in Fort Bliss TX in 2005 with 8 out of 10 superior ratings. CSM Wilson is currently assigned as the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Commander of the 1225th Combat Support Battalion at the Light Guard Armory in Detroit MI.

Mike is married to Kimberly and they have 3 sons, Chris, Nick, and Dakota, a daughter Jessica, and 5 grand children. Kim is an active supporter of the military and often leads discussions and activities toward family support and readiness of our military families.

Short Bio: I've been in for 2 years. I haven’t been deployed yet. My MOS is 92G (Food Service Specialist). Soon I will be getting another MOS and that is 92Y (Unit Supply Specialist). I am also my units Family Readiness Group Family Plan Actions Officer. I live in Portage.

Short Bio: I've been in for 13 years. Just reenlisted for 6 more in April. I was deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003 and was stationed at Camp Victory Kuwait and Camp Arifijan Kuwait. My MOS is 68J (Medical Supply Specialist). I'm married to Kristy and we have (2) daughters, Taylor and Macy. We live in Sturgis.
